Our little Samuel turns 3 weeks old today! He's still in newborn clothes and diapers and lost his umbilical cord when he was 16 days old. He and I have been hanging out a lot :) J just got off a string of night shifts so we get to spend time as a family of three this week! We went out for errands (and cupcakes) as well as for a shower celebrating his Aunt Debbie and cousin Ian (getting close to meeting him!), this past week. I'm used to not being pregnant, but it's still a little surreal to be a mom. Even with my bum clothes and hanging at home, J has still made me feel special and pretty and that encouragement goes far in my new motherhood. While it's not all sunshine and rainbows, many of our difficulties are the expected troubles, and the feeling of being blessed overshadows them. So thankful for our little family :)
