Today marks the last day for J and I reading the Bible chronologically. I'm really glad we did it :) And it marks 201 days until the wedding! <3 And just throwing out there - my attitude is a lot better. I really enjoyed Crosspointe's sermon on balance, and I'm aware of what an impact we can make on each other. Happy Monday!

Some days I'm more eager to get and be married than other days. I'm excited for it everyday, but sometimes my patience vanishes briefly. Today is one of those days. Here's hoping 208 days goes by quickly :)

Girl's Night

Tonight is my friend Molly's bachelorette night. We're going out to dinner, and then having a slumber party at her house.  It's been fun to have a friend already in the planning process to give advice and to be able to see her wedding to see if some of the ideas I'd like to use too, work for us. Even more so, I'm honored to be part of her wedding and to have her as a friend :)

This verse actually means a lot to me; it was my brother and sister-in-law's wedding verse. My mom encouraged us to choose a wedding verse that includes our wedding date. Their 3 year anniversary is coming up in a few weeks. Today also marks 7 months until my wedding :)

*Actually my brother and sister in law picked this without realizing it had their wedding date in the numbers!  Mysterious ways! So I guess my sister/brother in law and me/fiance were inspired/encouraged to pick our own :) 

What's been going on?

So a common question for me to asked these days, and understandably so, is how the wedding planning is going. And honestly, quite slowly. Mostly I just look through wedding blogs. Watching a bunch of little videos by capture studios has kept me in the wedding mood too. I think I've really started to tackle things just one at a time. I know I'm naturally more of a beginner/multi-tasker, so by focusing, I'm making sure things actually get completed. So we have the places, the date, the officiant, the bridal party, the dress, the colors, and that might be about it. But the photographer (hopefully!) is going to met next week, and we're working on catering meetings. I think I'm comfortable with it, although I occasionally look at the stupid long suggested lists for planning and get a little overwhelmed. I'm collecting ideas, but not narrowing down too much, and feel a little nervous for those narrowing down days. I'm confident the day will be beautiful, and I can hardly wait for the life afterward :)
