Reflection

Last night in Bible Study we talked about our Life Purpose. We had a great brainstorming session and I'm still praying and thinking about it. One thing that is sticking with me at the moment is when the book mentioned that as Americans in particular, we might focus on today, but our future focus often doesn't go past tomorrow. In one of the examples of life purposes in the book, a lady had realized that our eternity as Christians doesn't start when we die, but starts today. I know I can be so won over by my moods and the moment sometimes. I want to learn to enjoy the beauty and wonder and purpose of each day, but also maintain an eternal focus. Still much to think about though.
